To access the nearest beach, S. Rafael all it takes a 10 minute walk, Galé 20 minute walk, although there are many other beaches nearby, such as Salgados (which has a challenging and beautiful golf course), Coelha and Castelo beach.

Located west of Albufeira within a ten minute drive from the lively resort centre, São Rafael boasts a picturesque sandy beach and choice of several shops and restaurants and the small town of Guia, within a short drive, is famous for its choice of restaurants catering for all tastes and pockets.
