The inauguration of Vila Sol Golf took place in 1991. David Steele the very well known course designer with great skill has incorporated this course into an old established estate of pine, cork, oak and almond trees by using the landscape and natural beauty to perfection. Vila Sol is made up of 27 holes, divided into 3 courses – Prime, Challenge and Prestige. The Prime course is the most demanding of the three due to its length and reduced width of the fairways of the first four holes. The Challenge course lives up to its name and it’s the most challenging due to the natural lie of the land on the greens. On the other hand the Prestige course is the shortest and has the narrowest fairways requiring the very best in precision shots.
